I feel obligated to start the day with Shin-kun's story. He's so active this morning running around the house excitedly, playing with his toy. ^__^ And of course we are charmed by his antics...No doubt about that. As for right now, he's already retiring to his favorite spot for a nap. 

He could be tiresome sometimes, and has a sensitive stomach. Very alert and has an endless curiosity. Even a little piece of scrap paper could tempt him!

The Things In My Mind

Morning...It's been an hour since I woke up from bed. The air felt a little balmy and I guess it's going to be a good day to do your laundry. Taste Buds : Rosemary & Basil Foccacia

I've already put on a recipe of foccacia before. But that's a little different from this one. Today, we're going to venture into new territory. I think I managed to squeezed in basil and rosemary in most of the breads I baked. So no different from this one.

Foccacia, is one of Italian flat bread. Usually topped with herbs, but that doesn't mean it is limited to any other toppings. You can try sliced olives or tomato instead. For those who like it hot, maybe pickled chili? I haven't try that...It could be as delicious, just in a different way.

Sweltering Hot

Hi...I'm trying to pretend that I am not melting under this hot weather. It's hard though. Pretending that is. Even harder because there's a maintenance going on at my apartment, that they have to cut the electricity off for awhile! No. Make that a LONG while. Imagine that...Urgh...

The power was cut out at 11 am. From the notice, the cut off will be until 4 pm! Five hours without fan in this sweltering hot day?! NO!!!!!!

Resisting Temptation : Little Black Dress Cake

Well...hello ya all!!! 

I know it's only been a day, but it feels like a long time I didn't update the blog. ^__^  If you must know, I've been plagued by the laziness as soon as the day starts to turn sunny after a long cold spell. 

In spite of that, I didn't just sitting idle on my behind. I still busied myself with things...like... trying a new cake recipe...which was so very good I have to hold myself from having a second slice after finished off the first one!

For today's slot, chef Sherson Lian was making 5 dishes out of 5 ingredients he bought from wet market around Selayang. Those five things are chicken eggs (AA size), frozen duck (better fresh one), green peas, baby corn, and yam.

Things We Should be Grateful For : Red Bean Sweet Rolls

The past few days have been raining continuously while the temperature here has dropped to 23 deg Celsius making it almost icy cold for me. *if this is already icy cold, imagine what'll happen to me if the temperature being below 10 degrees...LOL...I think I'm gonna be soo numb I can't even feel my own feet!*

I am grateful that we do not have to experience the flood as others in a few lower parts in the country. It is hard to imagine to leave our belongings being swept away by the flood as we have to move to a safer place away from the flood. But that is better that to lost our lives.
