I had nothing to do yesterday and was bored. Then I looked into my unorganized recipe box for something I haven't try my hands on before and I came up with this. A simple butterscotch sauce that will add extra deliciousness to any ice cream or pancakes or whatever you have in mind... ^_^

I bet avid Harimau Malaya fans were gathered up to watch the 2012 AFC Men's Pre-Olympic Tournament (Preliminary Round) between Malaysia and Pakistan which just ended half an hour ago. It was a good game for Malaysia, being in controlled of the game for most of the time. Playing aggressively from the start has rewarded

One might recognized Malaysia because of its many incredibly talented people. Take this one person for example. He was a lawyer, a singer, an actor, a songwriter and a businessman. The said person was none other than the late Sudirman Hj. Arshad who passed away on this particular date (22 February 1992), 19 years ago.

I was browsing through the net yesterday and came across another bread recipe. The picture itself was good enough to did me in. The fact that the recipe is using one particular herb I've never use before in bread making makes it more tempting to try on. And since I got everything on hand, it took me only half an hour to prepare the dough.

Shh...I just tell you this once. Don't tell anyone okay? Well...when I was cleaning up the mess I made after baking some treats for the whole family, I heard a few whispered words. I can't make up what been said though. So I just followed the voices until I saw something that really surprised me. And guess what I found?

I feel obligated to start the day with Shin-kun's story. He's so active this morning running around the house excitedly, playing with his toy. ^__^ And of course we are charmed by his antics...No doubt about that. As for right now, he's already retiring to his favorite spot for a nap.
He could be tiresome sometimes, and has a sensitive stomach. Very alert and has an endless curiosity. Even a little piece of scrap paper could tempt him!

I don't have anything on my mind right now. I know I just type this without putting my mind into it. This is just an entry before I go to sleep. *As if I'm not sleepy already* Not to mention the tv is still buzzing with yet another commercial...Like, how many do you want the same commercial aired repeatedly? For goodness sake! We get them already...

Morning...It's been an hour since I woke up from bed. The air felt a little balmy and I guess it's going to be a good day to do your laundry. If you have them piling up that is...But that is not the point why I'm blabbering here. The thing is, I got a few blackened bananas in the fridge...and I'm wondering what I should use them up for.

I've already put on a recipe of foccacia before. But that's a little different from this one. Today, we're going to venture into new territory. I think I managed to squeezed in basil and rosemary in most of the breads I baked. So no different from this one.
Foccacia, is one of Italian flat bread. Usually topped with herbs, but that doesn't mean it is limited to any other toppings. You can try sliced olives or tomato instead. For those who like it hot, maybe pickled chili? I haven't try that...It could be as delicious, just in a different way.
Hi...I'm trying to pretend that I am not melting under this hot weather. It's hard though. Pretending that is. Even harder because there's a maintenance going on at my apartment, that they have to cut the electricity off for awhile! No. Make that a LONG while. Imagine that...Urgh...
The power was cut out at 11 am. From the notice, the cut off will be until 4 pm! Five hours without fan in this sweltering hot day?! NO!!!!!!

It is so hot outside I wish there are some ice cream stashed in the freezer. I believe we are coming into the hot season already. And what do you think is best on a very hot day??? Instead of ice cream please...I've told you that one... ;-)

Well...hello ya all!!!
I know it's only been a day, but it feels like a long time I didn't update the blog. ^__^ If you must know, I've been plagued by the laziness as soon as the day starts to turn sunny after a long cold spell.
In spite of that, I didn't just sitting idle on my behind. I still busied myself with things...like... trying a new cake recipe...which was so very good I have to hold myself from having a second slice after finished off the first one!

Morning all... :) Today we'll start with a book review first. I've been giddy with wanting to review this novel for awhile now. As beautiful as the the title I would say. It's called Beautiful Dreamer written by Elizabeth Lowell.

For today's slot, chef Sherson Lian was making 5 dishes out of 5 ingredients he bought from wet market around Selayang. Those five things are chicken eggs (AA size), frozen duck (better fresh one), green peas, baby corn, and yam.
The past few days have been raining continuously while the temperature here has dropped to 23 deg Celsius making it almost icy cold for me. *if this is already icy cold, imagine what'll happen to me if the temperature being below 10 degrees...LOL...I think I'm gonna be soo numb I can't even feel my own feet!*
I am grateful that we do not have to experience the flood as others in a few lower parts in the country. It is hard to imagine to leave our belongings being swept away by the flood as we have to move to a safer place away from the flood. But that is better that to lost our lives.
