Good morning!

Rise and shine everyone...I know the weather calls for a longer sleeping time but don't entertain that notion please. You feel better if you get up now and do something. Then go eat some breakfast. Breakfast is a very important meal that you should not skip. Ever. Provides you with energy to go about your daily activities before lunch time. And of course there'll be the 10 am snack-time. Which I love... That's when we get to eat...ermm, snacks! >_<

Sunshine on Toast!

I made a small jar of pineapple jam today on a whim. Hey, it's a sunny day. Why not having something that remind me of sunshine? So I gathered all things required and quickly set about the task. We bought two pineapples from a local market last week and luckily there was one left. We love to eat the pineapples raw, but too much of it could get you a sore throat. Best to put it into good use before it starts to rotten up!

Cookie Comforts

One thing that always get to me at any time of the day is chocolate. I believe I've said this at least hundredth times already, but I need to say it again. I-Love-Chocolate. Period. And just the thought of it could make my mouth water...

When you're so damn hungry, it helps if your fridge is always stuffed with frozen or make-ahead food. Like this very appetizing dish that looks like forever to make can be done within an hour. You can use anything you've got in the fridge to make it. Trust me, it was as easy as a pie!

I Totally Forgot...

I woke up today feeling a little odd. Like I was forgetting something. Yeap, something important. But I dismissed the feeling and went about doing my usual chores. As I was about to go into the living room, I noticed the calendar that shows today's date. 11th April. 

Cocoa Infused Bread

Good day everyone! 

I know it's been long since I post a new recipe here. So I'm gonna redeem myself today. This evening I was making a good chocolate braids that according to my sisters, taste like a cake! I'm not sure which part of it that taste like cake cause I'm definitely certain that it tasted like a good white loaf bread instead, just in chocolate color. 

And I bet it tastes as good toasted with a little butter! Can't wait to try it yourself? No sweat, here's the recipe. 

A Moment Before...

It's going to rain soon. The sky has getting so dark now. At times like this, I wish I had pisang goreng  besides my coffee now. It'll go so perfectly with the weather... Well, I just keep thinking about it and maybe it'll materialize eventually. Heheh

The Crowd Pleaser

Morning all...I'm quite sure that many of us watched the Anugerah Bintang Popular (ABP) 2010 Berita Harian live on TV3 last night. I'm not expecting much of the award actually. For the past years, it's getting more and more predictable. But last night was surprising as well as entertaining. 

And truthfully, I was looking forward to see who would win the Bintang Popular Award since Dato' Siti Nurhaliza has opted to quit from participating in the award. It seems like a fair decision since she has won the award ten times consequently! That's a full cabinet of awards I would say...Heheheh
