I Need A Cake!

I had a mid-morning craving for a cake. *Who doesn't?* 

The last cake I'd bake was before Eid. So I think this will justified my craving. I've had several options of course. This time, I'm going to try something new. Not that what I already have in my repertoire couldn't do their job. This is more like a-newbie-in-baking thing. We've got to try something new so we can develop it to our taste. 

tragic story...(if you're an apple that is)

ook, here goes. 

i made these very filling cinnamon apple muffin a few days back. 

i saw the apples lying around, happy as they are... so, i decided to chopped them up and make something yummy from them. >:-D 

of course they're not in agreeable mode, but i just ignored them. 

i chop, chop, chop...whisk, whisk, whisk...and sprinkle, sprinkle, sprinkle. then, into the oven they went. 

right after 22 minutes, ding, ding! finally... yumminess from my oven! 

cinnamon, apples, and nuts. who says 3 can't tango together??!

there's only one apple left in my fridge. one. not to mention a small one.

there goes what i had in mind when i hid them and hoping no one will saw the sweet apples...yeah rite..

still standing with the fridge door open (yeap, i know. energy wasting. but i was hot at that time), i'm thinking. with only one small apple left, theres not much you can do. but, i can make do if not relying on it alone.

there you go, i wheezed some mocha muffin batter and sprinkle diced apple on them. you can't really taste the apple. but the contrast is nice for the picture. hehe..
