Down On Luck

It's a wonder how a game could unite or divide people. We might have different views over everything. But when it comes to soccer, most Malaysian are collectively supportive of the national team. It's like a plague.

The team spirit is so contagious that even if you are not a fan, you'll still got sucked-in right into it. Too bad that the high spirit was not enough for the team to stay on top. The loss against Syria wasn't so overwhelming. Somehow, it was justifiable compared to the loss against Bahrain.

It was like watching a disaster where you're helpless to do anything about it. The bad moves were made one by one, and Bahrain was taking full advantage of it. They scored three goals within few minutes interval when the game was less than 15 minutes left. It was so devastating to watch after that. But I had to give two thumbs up for Ultras Malaya - the national cheerleaders - for staying put until the end. They are truly the supporters the team needs.

Despite the defeated feeling the team and fans felt - me included - I've got something to lessen the ache. The cake was baked in hope to be eaten in a celebratory mood. Nonetheless, it works in soothing the sour mood... T_T

Ain't No Harmless Cubs

It's midnight post again. With Gavin Rossdale on my playlist, still trying to figure out how may I sketch the layout of this post. I pretty much used up on the ideas and now I was left without words worth reading *is it?*. 

Talking about Harimau Muda could be relevant right now since they just won the final match against Indonesia in the 26th SEA GAMES 2011 held in Bung Karno Stadium last night. It was a match to be remembered alright.

It was pretty depressing for me. I was kinda hoping that our team will at least play more aggressively against Japan. Turns out that the Japan team obviously is more skilled than our team. From the first kick-off, Japan has been attacking our goal non-stop!

Go...Malaysia!

Tonight's second leg match between Malaysia and Singapore will be held at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil at 8.45 pm. Tickets were sold out so we'll expect a very large crowd at the stadium. No matter where we are make sure we all Malaysian gather up to support our team, Harimau Malaya. Although last week's game in Singapore leaves a sour taste in our mouth, there is still hope for our team. Don't give up on our hope yet.

Good Morning!!!

One thing that I love waking up to every morning is the sound of birds already up and chirping, getting busy to feed . Kind of like telling me that everything's still in order; at their own place. It's not really ideal to be so optimistic upon today's world. What with all the chaos that happened all over the world. But sometimes, we need some reassurance that we still live and well; ready to perform our duty on earth.

We ARE celebrating Malaysia Team a.k.a Harimau Malaya going into the third round! 

Heck yeah!!! We won by aggregate 2-1 against Lebanon last night... *smiling so hard my face hurt!*

Action-Packed Game

Gotta say that tonight's game (FA Cup 2011 final) between Kelantan and Terengganu is pretty interesting. Since I am Selangor Team's fan, I won't be taking sides. There are lots of tackling going around. One of Terengganu's player already been given a yellow card. And it's only half hour of the game! I bet there's more to come for the rest of the game...

Breakfast at Ease

Malaysia won by aggregate to the next round of Pre-Olympic Tournament. The result for yesterdays match which was held in Lahore, Pakistan was 0-0. Luckily for Malaysia to have gained 2 points already during the first match. The scheduled match that was supposed to aired live last night was canceled due to technical reason. 

Well now, almost 9.30 a.m here and I just had my breakfast. Two rolls with a cup of latte. My usual pick in the morning. Simple yet fulfilling. With the birds tweeting somewhere, this calm and peaceful morning is rare. Usually by now, you can hear kids screaming on top of their lung playing in front of the house. They might have sleep in today. I'm grateful for that. ^_^ 

Oh, actually I want to talk about that breakfast rolls. Sweet rolls that were shaped into horns *if you can tell*, were so soft and fluffy. When eating, I like to peel the layers and ate them one by one. It's such an experience! I like them dipped in my drinks too. Equally enjoyable... ;) 

Two & Zero : A New Path

I bet avid Harimau Malaya fans were gathered up to watch the 2012 AFC Men's Pre-Olympic Tournament (Preliminary Round) between Malaysia and Pakistan which just ended half an hour ago. It was a good game for Malaysia, being in controlled of the game for most of the time. Playing aggressively from the start has rewarded

Looks like OUR TIGERS haven't lost their touch. Still manage to pull it off with 2 over 0, defeating Hong Kong in-style during last night friendly match...What a great game!

Soccer Night : Piala Sumbangsih & AFC Asian Cup Final

Two matches tonight. Straight two games live on tv really makes my day! ^_^

The first match will be Selangor vs. Kelantan in Piala Sumbangsih at 8.30 pm . And the second match will be Japan vs. Australia in AFC Asian Cup at 11 pm.

ohohoho.... ^_^  tomorrow's a holiday for malaysia!!! yeay! 

we deserved the celebration obviously. after all the hard works put on by our players and supports from all malaysian, we indeed need the break. and i bet this elated feeling will last for a week! *including me obviously* anyway, congratulations malaysia team once again! *can't say it enough :-P*

sweet victory

winner at last...

i got headache watching the final second leg aff suzuki cup, so intense it was. the game start off with indonesia aggressively attacking malaysia's goal. and thanks to our superb goalie, and our defensive line, most of the attempts were blocked. it was during the second half of the game that brings about the desperation of both sides. more intensely aggressive moves were made while malaysia plays more on defensive. even that, safee sali manage to put in the first goal in the game! a very beautiful one at that! to tell the truth, i could hear people screaming excitedly from my apartment at the very moment...*i'm not complaining, mind you*.

but that was short lived after indonesia managed to kick in their first goal. and... the second one unintentionally by malaysia's player after his attempt to block the ball but it got through instead...that was a few minutes before the final whistle blew off. 

in the end, we managed to defend our goal from further attempt to goal and won the game by aggregate! hip hip hooray!! hip hip hooray!! thanks to our players for the good game they played and the focus they gave besides all the psychological attacks made on them. real professional!!! ;-)

feels really good today, aren't we? ;-) 

with a cup of hot latte and a big smile on your face, it sure is a perfect way to kick-start your day. it certainly did for me... last night game was really outstanding, showing off malaysia's players improvement of their skills. i can still felt the excitement, the sensation, the heart stopping anticipation...^___^

man...seriously, i'm sooooo proud of them! makes me feel like i want to send them some cookies just because they were so great on the field last night! >_< *hehehe...ok, i'm just kidding. i wouldn't even dare...* 

why not make it better by having some more cute, heart-fluttering handsomeness from our shin-kun!

oh.my. what an exciting game! 

seriously world class play from malaysia. though at first half, both sides didn't manage to get any goal. the game picked up the pace at second half with more aggressive moves from malaysia towards indonesia's goal. and it works!

three goals during second half totally awesome!!! 2 goals by safee sali and another by ashaari shamsuddin. good job guys... ;-)

i'm so excited! can't barely sit still. yes, it's about tonights match. hope for the best.
